COVID-19 and TTG Vaccine Policy Update –Sept. 7, 2021, Update

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TTG continues monitor and follow local and provincial information and recommendations to ensure the safety of all trainees, instructors, staff and others. TTG applies and adheres to all public health guidelines as they are updated.

Despite the challenges to training delivery presented by COVID-19, TTG is committed to continuing to use innovative and effective solutions that allow our trainees to safely continue with their training.

TTG’s team worked closely with community partners and followed provincial and local health recommendations and guidelines to develop our pandemic policies, procedures, and safety protocols and vaccine policy to keep our trainees, instructors, staff and others safe. We continue to closely monitor and refine these processes based on provincial and local health recommendations.

In adherence to the directive issued by the Ministry of Health’s Chief Medical Officer and the Province of Ontario, effective, September 7, 2021, TTG has implemented and is ensuring compliance with a COVID-19 vaccination policy. This policy requires written proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.

Without written proof of full vaccination, TTG will require proof of a negative COVID-19 test every seven days and either:  1) a written medical exemption, documented by a physician/ registered nurse; or 2) proof of completion of a TTG approved education session.

If you have any questions regarding TTG’s COVID-19 polices and procedures or vaccine policy, you can reach us by email at info@technicaltraininggroup.org.
